Annemarie Murphy Named President of United Community Bank SBA Division

Since joining United in 2014, Murphy has served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of SBA Lending. During her time at United, SBA has grown to 63 employees and $170 million in loan volume. Her experience includes 14 years in the professional lending niche and time within the medical, dental, independent pharmacy, veterinary and death care industries.

Prior to joining United Community Bank, Annemarie was Senior Loan Officer serving professionals at Live Oak Bank. Annemarie graduated magna cum laude with a master’s of science degree in Construction Engineering Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.

Metro Phoenix Bank Hires Tim Collins as VP SBA Business Development Officer

His results-driven experience, along with his extensive industry knowledge and exceptional service, will play a key role in the growth of the Bank’s SBA portfolio.”

Tim says, “Now that I have joined a Bank that is committed to serving local businesses, I am eager to apply my SBA knowledge with meaningful lending solutions for businesses.”

Most recently, Tim held the position of VP Business Development Officer with Radius Bank. He was also responsible for production of SBA 7a and 504 loans with Bancorp. Prior to Bancorp, Tim was Senior Vice President/SBA Lending Manager for BNC National Bank

Among Tim’s accomplishments include being the recipient of the Veterans Champion of the Year (2014 & 2017) as well as being ranked #3 SBA lender in Arizona by Ranking AZ Magazine (2009, 2010, & 2011). Prior to Collins’ SBA experience, he served in the US Air Force reserves, Public Affairs division.

Michael Valenti named vice president, Small Business Administration relationship manager for Idaho at KeyBank

Prior to joining KeyBank, Valenti was senior vice president, SBA division manager for San Diego Private Bank. Previously, he held numerous senior leadership roles at banking institutions in California and Idaho, including community banks, community small business lenders, and national banks.

Valenti attended the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and earned a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg State University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
