Coleman Movers & Shakers — SBA Loan Software Companies Merge
CDC Ventures and Anchor Commercial Services Merge
CDC Ventures, an affiliate of CDC Small Business Finance, and Anchor Commercial Services have merged effective Jan. 1.
The two firms provide SBA loan processing software systems to certified development companies.
“Joining forces will position us well to innovate and add features to the software as new opportunities and challenges arise in the industry,” says Catherine Riddle, CEO of CDC Ventures.
Julie Middleton, former president of Anchor Commercial Services, says, “One of the greatest benefits of the merger is that LMS clients will be able to take immediate advantage of a secure, web-based system upon conversion to Ventures+.”
Julie, along with former Anchor employees Sean Gowen and Steve Quang, join the staff of CDC Ventures.
Anchor had served the CDC and SBA industries for 29 years.

Stu will be responsible for all the bank’s direct relationship (non-broker) commercial business activities, including C&I loans, direct-sourced CRE loans and SBA loans,
Lubow has been a banking executive for over 37 years, most recently as Chairman, CEO, and President of Community National Bank, a full service community bank with nearly $1 billion in assets and 10 branches.
Previous to that, he was Founder, CEO, and President of Community State Bank and prior to Community State Bank, Mr. Lubow held executive positions at Garden State Bank, Dollar Dry Dock Bank, and People’s Bank, N.A. Mr. Lubow is a graduate of Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting
