TEXAS CAPITAL BANK CREATES SBA LENDING GROUP

Texas Capital Bank expanded its SBA offering by hiring veteran banker John Gannon to assemble a team of SBA lending experts to serve clients throughout Texas. Under John’s leadership, the team consists of Business Development Officers Robyn Drago, Connie Ramos, J.P. Prinz and Joe Weiner, in addition to Closing Manager Debra Cheek and Servicing Manager Katia Jahnke. The group also partners closely with dedicated Credit Officer Clyde Thompson and his team.

Phillips Hicks joins U.S. Bank Small Business team in Phoenix

“We are fortunate to have someone of Phillip’s extensive and diverse background in the Arizona market,” says Cynthia Mazzetta, senior vice president and central regional manager for U.S. Bank’s SBA Division. “Phillip brings to U.S. Bank a strong presence, having worked in the Arizona market for many years and is actively involved in community development. We are very excited to have him join the SBA team.”

Hicks will provide SBA loans to a wide variety of small businesses throughout Arizona. Phillip has more than 15 years of combined experience in business development and small business financing. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from University of Santa Clara University, associates of arts degree in liberal arts from Ventura College, studied accounting at Glendale Community College, and attended the commercial college of credit through Wells Fargo Bank.

Hicks serves as ambassador for the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in the Northern Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Commercial Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors, Arizona Business Broker’s Association, Arizona Small Business Association, and several other local chambers of commerce. He also participated in the Teach Children to Save Program and served as a former finance committee chair for St. Mary’s Catholic High School.

Through the SBA Division, U.S. Bank operates 36 specially designated SBA business centers across the United States, and operates as an SBA Preferred Lender in Arizona and nationwide.
