Rudy comes to VEDC from national online small business loan provider Dealstruck, where he served as vice president of operations. Prior to that, he held several underwriting and risk management roles of increasing responsibility with banks and finance companies such as Westamerica Bank, CDC Small Business Finance, Heller Financial, and GE Capital.

VEDC has a $35 million small business loan portfolio and serves small businesses in California, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, Utah, and the New York Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut).

In the past, he has worked in business development and management roles for Borrego Springs Bank, Temecula Valley Bank, Comerica / Imperial Bank and Truckee River Bank. Taylor received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Chaker has over 30 years of comprehensive lending experience, extensively in the SBA arena. Prior to joining ReadyCap Lending, LLC, Chaker served as Senior Vice President for US Metro Bank in South California where he was the Bank’s highest producer of SBA loans YTD. He has extensive experience and knowledge in financial products and lending, having worked in business development and regional management roles for Bridge Bank, Hanmi Bank, US Metro Bank

Chaker received his Master’s degree in business administration in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey.

“Deb comes to SBA with a great background in economic development and in assisting small businesses with obtaining the capital needed to start or expand their businesses. We are excited to have her start working with North Dakota lenders to get financing to area businesses through our loan guaranty programs,” says Al Haut, deputy district director.

Prior to joining the SBA, Deb was the executive director for the South Central Dakota Regional Council in Jamestown. She has 16 years experience working with regional council commercial loan programs and advising small business owners and entrepreneurs.
