Marty Teckler Joins Kelly Drye as Partner

Martin Teckler is a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Marty is experienced in general corporate law, real estate, administrative law, securities and venture capital

His principal areas of practice include representation of venture capital and private equity funds which are structured as Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs) and representation of specialty lenders that make financial assistance available to small and mid-sized businesses.

Jayne Armstrong Named Iowa SBA District Director

Jayne Armstrong has been named the new Small Business Administration Iowa district director Jayne joined the Iowa district office from the SBA’s office of field operations in Washington, D.C. She previously worked as the district director for the Virginia, Delaware and West Virginia offices, and as a regional advocate in the SBA’s office of advocacy.

Robert Fay Joins American Business Lending

Robert will be based in Bristol, Rhode Island and will cover the Northeast.

Fay comes to ABL with 31 years of banking experience, nearly two decades of which were centered around SBA and USDA lending.

Charles Yorke Named President of Paragon Small Business Capital Group

Prior to joining Paragon Bank, Charles was the Managing Director of the Small Business Capital Group at Cornerstone Bank in Atlanta. Before that, he served as the president of Cornerstone Bank and Haven Trust Bank.

Wallis State Bank Named Top Houston Lender

Nasr Khan and his team have grown the department’s annual SBA 7(a) loan production from $8 million in 2011 to $77 million in 2014. The bank ranks 38th on the Coleman Report 500.
