Russell Hughes Named SBA Manager at Houston Federal Credit Union

With more than twenty five years of banking experience, Russell Hughes has had direct involvement with all management and administrative responsibilities of SBA lending, operations and personnel management. Most recently, he was the Lead Lender Relationship Specialist at the SBA Houston District Office. He is well recognized in the SBA market both in Texas and nationally having served as a member of the roundtable to the National Director in Washington, D.C.

CDC Small Business Finance Hires New Loan Officers

CDC Small Business Finance has hired two new loan officers to market their SBA-504 and Community Advantage loan programs.

Esther Carrillo, a 14-year veteran of banking and financial services, will market Community Advantage financing to small businesses in San Diego and Imperial counties.

Rachael Pokuta, a 21-year veteran of business banking, will focus on SBA-504 outreach to banks and commercial real estate brokers in the Inland Empire and East Los Angeles. Prior to joining CDC, Pokuta worked in business development positions for several financial institutions, including Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase.

All of his time has been in the metro Phoenix area. Mr. Mitten spent the last 18 years as a SBA BDO with Wells Fargo Bank.
