1st Security Bank announces that C. Han Kim has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President and SBA Division Manager

Han has 27 years experience in the commercial banking field, including international banking, credit administration, commercial real estate lending as well as executive leadership and management. He particularly enjoys assisting entrepreneurs with the SBA program. “I find it fulfilling to help business owners realize their financial objectives as well as their dreams,” he says. With 20 years of SBA lending experience, Han will ensure that small business owners are served well while managing the risk profile for the Bank.
Han graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, received his MBA from Seattle University and received a post-graduate certificate in bank executive management from Pacific Coast Banking School. When not at work, Han enjoys an active lifestyle. He has called NE Seattle his home for the last 18 years and is committed to his family, community and church.
Jason Zemke Joins 44 Business Capital as First Vice President for Columbus Ohio

As an established and recognized professional in the Columbus area, Zemke has several years of experience in SBA, commercial and business lending with specific expertise in healthcare financing. Zemke was a commercial lending officer at Civista Bank, business banking officer at Huntington National Bank and US Bank, and served as a business development officer at Bank of America. Zemke is also an Ohio licensed real estate professional. Zemke graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in Communications and Public Relations, and served as a senior airman in the United States Air Force for four years as a material storage and distribution specialist. An avid Cleveland sports and Ohio State football fan, Zemke enjoys golfing and heading back home to Sandusky to spend time on Lake Erie. Zemke lives with his wife Farrah in Columbus, OH with their three dogs, Reese’s, Snickers and Phoebe.

Kandee Cotton has over 20 years of financial experience. She specializes in assisting dental, medical and veterinary professionals looking to purchase, expand or grow their practices. Kandee attended The Ohio State University and currently resides in Dublin, Ohio with her husband and two children.
Marcus Colson, SBA Business Development Officer
Marcus Colson has over 12 years financial experience specializing in Small Business Lending – both from a packaging and banking perspective. As a small business owner himself, he leverages his first-hand knowledge to easily connect with borrowers and understand their needs. Marcus graduated from Indiana University Bloomington and is a lifelong resident of Indiana.
Morten Oftedal, SBA Business Development Officer
Morten Oftedal has over 13 years of financial experience. During his career, he has worked internationally as a currency trader in Norway and as a portfolio manager and SBA Business Development officer in the United States. Morten received his B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business and his Masters in International Business from Mercer University. Morten lives in Covington, Georgia with his family.
