Coleman Certified SBA 7(a) Loan Underwriting Training
Course Begins, Tuesday, March 7, 2017

The SBA 7(a) loan underwriter makes the crucial judgments that go beyond typical underwriting to ensure the validity of the federal government guarantee for your institution’s SBA loan portfolio.

Loan underwriters are trained to assess risk and craft solutions to mitigate credit risk.

SBA loan underwriters have additional responsibilities and it’s simply not enough to insert a clause into your credit memorandum that the SBA guaranty is the loan risk mitigation.

Rather, the underwriter must have contextural knowledge of SBA’s rules and regulations. Prudent due diligence is required in order to not compromise the integrity of the SBA loan guaranty.

This eight-week online course will help underwriters master the nuances of SBA lending and be able to correctly underwrite all types of loans, applying the SBA 7(a) guidelines every time.

This professionally produced high quality online video instruction will offer superior training for novices and seasoned SBA loan experts alike.

Best of all, this training is only $995 per participant (multiple registrations from the same organization each receive an additional $100 discount).

Coleman’s Certified SBA 7(a) Loan Closer Training
Course Begins Tuesday, March 21, 2017

Fact: The single biggest cause of SBA guaranty denials is faulty closings. If your loan closers fail to comply with tricky—and intricate—SOP 50 10(H) requirements, it can cost your bank millions of dollars. To ensure that your staff fully comply with all procedures and necessary documentation, this training provides an insider’s look at tips and techniques for closing SBA loans with impunity. The result: Speedier closings, reduced repair charges and elimination of SBA guaranty denials.

Best of all, this training is only $995 per participant (multiple registrations from the same organization each receive an additional $100 discount).

Coleman’s Certified SBA 7(a) Loan Liquidation Training
Course Begins, February 28, 2017

The loan is in default. The dream has failed.

Hard fact: The single biggest cause of lost SBA 7(a) guaranties are mistakes made during liquidations. When an SBA 7(a) loan defaults, the responsibility for maximizing your recovery and protecting your SBA guaranty falls squarely on your liquidator.

Unfortunately though the SBA allows great latitude to liquidators, its liquidation requirements are tough. While many bankers have experience liquidating traditional loans, they often fail to understand the SBA’s intricate SOP 5057 rules for ensuring the continued viability of the SBA loan guaranty.

This course will help participants understand:

Exactly what is expected of the SBA 7(a) liquidator

How the liquidator must document all steps in the SBA 7(a) liquidation process.

How to prepare error-free SBA ten-tab packages to ensure fast payment of the SBA loan guaranty by the federal government.

Please note: This is not a recitation of the SOP—it is tailored to give you the tools to confidently liquidate any SBA 7(a) loan perfectly, no matter how complex.

Goal of this Coleman eight-week online training course is to increase the proficiency of SBA loan liquidators to the “expert” level—to ensure they know how to liquidate a loan perfectly—every time. Participants learn to master protocols for maximizing recoveries, reducing lender repair, and eliminating denials of SBA loan guaranties. It is intended for novices as well as seasoned SBA loan liquidators.
