Ashish Abraham Receives Coleman Spirit of SBA Lending Award

Ashish Abraham brings over 20 years of experience in SBA financing, including several years as an SBA underwriter where he analyzed and structured a wide range of loan transactions. In 2025, he transitioned into a sales role at First State Bank of Dallas with a focus on building the Bank’s SBA portfolio. At the time Ashish joined, the Bank had no existing SBA loans or prior experience in the SBA space. Through a collaborative team effort, they successfully achieved PLP Lender status, and as of the SBA’s most recent fiscal year-end, the Bank ranks among the top 50 SBA lenders in the DFW metroplex.
