Carissa Sousa Named Coleman SBA 7(a) Sales Executive of the Year

In 2025, Carissa Sousa focused on advancing both her professional growth and the long-term strength of Shoreham Bank’s SBA platform. Attending the Stonier Graduate School of Banking expanded Carissa’s strategic perspective and inspired her to begin developing an internal training process to strengthen SBA knowledge across Shoreham’s commercial department, with the goal of eventually implementing it bank-wide. Carissa also earned her MBA in 2025. Carissa also broadened her market presence by increasing engagement on social media and attending more industry conferences, which helped her build significantly more referral partner relationships than in prior years and deepen Shoreham’s reach into new communities and industries.
