CDC Small Business Finance Adds Five Loan Officers in California, D.C., and Detroit

“We’re adding experienced lenders who care about our mission and want to make a difference. As we expand into Northern California and Washington, D.C., and as we add staff in Detroit, we will be positioned to make a positive impact to an increasing number of small businesses,” says Susan Lamping, Vice President of Sales at CDC Small Business Finance, part of the Momentus Capital branded family of organizations.

CDC Small Business Finance has added several experienced loan officers to its Small Business Lending and 504 Commercial Real Estate teams.

On the Small Business Lending team:

  • Darryl Appiah brings more than 10 years of experience in the Washington, D.C. area and is CDC Small Business Finance’s first loan officer in D.C. He was most recently responsible for managing the commercial portfolio at Virginia National Bank.
  • Jennifer Moon, who will work out of Detroit, has 10 years of micro-lending experience and was instrumental in expanding Michigan Woman Forward’s presence statewide, specifically with underserved borrowers.
  • Mike Dang joins the CDC Small Business Finance Bay Area team after nearly 20 years in mortgage banking, fintech, credit unions, and private banking. He was most recently at First Republic Bank.

On the 504 Commercial Real Estate team:

  • Mike Boudinot in San Diego was promoted from his position as a Relationship Manager and brings extensive credit underwriting expertise with a focus on guiding company owners, particularly in underserved areas.
  • Janine Peltier in Los Angeles, who was most recently an SBA 504 business development officer at AmPac Business Capital, brings a combination of experience as a commercial real estate broker with seasoned loan officer proficiency, bridging the gap between real estate market dynamics and lending intricacies.

“Mike’s contribution promises to significantly enhance our clients’ success in securing properties for future growth. And Janine’s dedication to community lending extends to all sectors, including LMI and underserved areas, reflecting her passion for making a meaningful impact,” says Andrew Mort, SBA 504 & CRE Sales Manager for CDC Small Business Finance.
