C-Suite Wednesday — New SBA Logo and Decals Effective May 1

By Bob Coleman

7(a) lenders using SBA logo window decals at their locations will need to replace them with new decals as of May 1st. This change is necessary due to the agency’s recently announced new logo.

New window decals are available at local SBA district offices.

For lender websites, digital decals, which are identical to the window decals have also been made available for download on the SBA website. Both physical and digital decals may only be used to advertise a lender’s relationship with the SBA and should not be placed in a location or manner that would appear to promote non-SBA products or services.

Digital decals (but not window decals) require a statement indicating which SBA loan programs the lender offers (e.g. “‘Approved to offer SBA loan products under SBA’s Preferred Lender Program’ (or SBA Express Program, etc.)”). The logo may be placed at the bottom of the webpage or on a small business page, but should be unmodified (except to resize), not be larger or smaller than other icons, nor the most prominent part of the page.
