First Business Banks Welcomes Alan Hice as Vice President of SBA Lending

Alan Hice joined First Business Bank as Vice President – SBA Lending with over 20 years of direct SBA lending experience. While currently originating loans nationwide, his previous experience includes credit underwriting and closing loans, which serves him well in guiding loans from start to finish. Alan prides himself on finding the right financing solution while taking a creative approach no matter the scenario — whether it’s acquisition, expansion, start-up, construction, and refinance, among many others. He appreciates the ambition and foresight it takes to own a small business.

Alan earned a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Tennessee and lives in Tennessee.

Diane Hawkins is Promoted to SBA and Participation Specialist at Citizens Bank
“Diane’s new purview will enable us to really hone in on its skill and commitment to SBA,” says Pam Jones, chief operations officer. “Her years of banking experience are integral to the success of the creation of this new department, making her a perfect fit for this position.”

Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, Arkansas, has announced the promotion of Diane Hawkins to SBA and participation specialist, making Hawkins the first Citizens Bank team member to be overseeing SBA in the bank’s history.

Hawkins has over 40 years of banking knowledge and experience and has been a vital member of the Citizens Bank team for many years. She is a member of Believers’ Community Church in Batesville and has served in many different capacities for several years. She is also a volunteer with Relay for Life.

“I’m excited to create and elevate new opportunities for our customers as we become a preferred SBA bank,” says Hawkins. “This new role demonstrates our commitment to small businesses in the communities we serve, and I’m honored to help Citizens Bank grow in this capacity.”
