Amanda Aaron is Promoted to the Role of SBA Credit Officer at SouthStar Bank

Amanda has 19 years of experience in the banking and finance industry as well as over 10 years of experience handling all facets of SBA Lending. She specializes in small business lending and commercial real estate lending but has worked in a variety of other banking roles. She has experience in loan production, financing owner-occupied and investment real estate, servicing and underwriting commercial credits.

In her new position, Amanda will be responsible for originating and underwriting SBA loans, partnering with Loan Officers to assist with their SBA loans, and providing ongoing educational opportunities for both the staff and our community. She is most excited about growing and expanding the knowledge of what SBA lending can do for customers to all branches and markets SouthStar Bank serves, as well as being able to ensure the SBA program is strong and continues to be effective.

Amanda is not only impressive in her work life, but she is also involved with several professional organizations including, a local SBA organization where she serves as the Vice President, CTAGGL, and a CREW Austin member. In her free time, Amanda enjoys watching all types of sporting events, coaching her daughter’s softball team, and spending time with family and friends.

First Bank Welcomes Alex Kim to the SBA Team as an SBA Officer

Alex Kim, a 20+ year banking veteran, has joined the First Bank SBA team focusing on businesses throughout the U.S. Kim will work with small businesses to help access capital for acquisition, growth, and other needs through SBA-guaranteed lending. His focus is primarily on loans that assist with owner-occupied real estate purchase and refinances but also can assist with business acquisition, business and franchise start-up, equipment purchasing, debt refinance, and working capital, to name a few.

Kim joins the team as a top-performing SBA lender for many years with organizations such as EH National Bank, Metro United Bank, East West Bank and most recently Sunwest Bank. A graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences, Kim has spent years building a strong network of referral partners and business partners.

KeyBank Hires Dennis Breitrick As Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager

Breitrick reports to Allison Standish-Plimpton, Business Banking sales leader for Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine. “Dennis is an experienced business banker with proven lending and relationship-management expertise,” she says. “His knowledge of the local business market and successful track record meeting clients’ financial needs will add value to our team, and we are thrilled that he has decided to bring his career to Key.”

KeyBank announced that Dennis Breitrick has joined the bank as senior Business Banking relationship manager for its Connecticut and Western Mass. market. In his new role, he will provide customized financial solutions to improve cash flow, such as commercial lines of credit, SBA financing, equipment financing, cash management, merchant services, commercial real-estate financing, and more to businesses with sales revenues between $3 million and $50 million annually.

A graduate of Fordham University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree, Breitrick joins KeyBank from M&T Bank (formerly People’s United Bank), where he served as a business relationship manager since 2019. Previously, he spent 10 years with JPMorgan Chase Bank in similar roles serving business clients.
