Beth Hallock Named President SBA at United Community Bank
United Community Bank has announced the promotion of Beth Hallock to President of SBA. Hallock has over 35 years of industry experience, 18 of which have been dedicated to various areas of SBA lending, and most recently served as SBA National Sales Manager for United. She will now oversee all aspects of the bank’s SBA team, including strategy, growth, product definition, training and sales.
“Beth has flourished into a strong leader during her time with us and I could not be more pleased to have her step into this expanded role,” says Rich Bradshaw, Chief Banking Officer for United Community Bank. “Our SBA team has grown tremendously over the past few years and has consistently been recognized as a top-tier lender. Andrew Adams joins HomeStreet as VP, SBA Business Development Officer
HomeStreet has announced that Andrew Adams will serve as its newest Business Development officer for the west coast region. At HomeStreet’s office in Irvine, CA, Adams will focus on small business acquisition lending.
Adams has over 15 years of experience working with small to mid-sized businesses.He volunteers for Operation Hope and is a member of the OC Chamber of Commerce and the CA Association of Business Brokers.
“In my role as an SBA business development officer I work closely with both small business owners as well as commercial loan brokers and bankers to assess and structure the financing requirements of small businesses,” says Adams. “I take a consultative, value-added approach in working with borrowers to structure a customized financing package to fit the unique needs of each business.”
Kendall Garrison To Succeed Paul Trylko as Amplify Credit Union’s CEO
Amplify Credit Union — the second-largest locally based SBA lender in Austin, TX — has announced that their current CEO, Paul Trylko, plans to retire in 2020. Trylko will be succeeded by Kendall Garrison.
Garrison joined Amplify in 2010 and served as Senior Vice President of Lending until 2015, when he was named Executive Vice President. Since then, he’s been responsible for spearheading the credit union’s growth strategy and overseeing operations. Under Garrison’s leadership, Amplify has quadrupled the size of its small business commercial lending portfolio.
“One thing my time at Amplify has taught me so far is that if you bring together great people united by a worthy mission, anything is possible,” says Garrison. “We have a great team that will carry us forward to our next stage of growth.”
