Central Valley Community Bank’s Blaine Lauhon is Promoted to EVP, Chief Banking Officer

Lauhon, an experienced community banker highly regarded by his team and peers, will lead the strategic direction, management, and profitability of CVCB’s Banking Services division. He will continue to serve on the Managing Committee. His oversight includes deposit and lending generation and exceptional client relations for CVCB’s Commercial Lending, Private Business Banking and Cash Management Services, as well as Banking Center Operations for 20 full-service offices located throughout the San Joaquin Valley and Greater Sacramento region.

Lauhon joined CVCB in October 2017 as Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Officer, and has served as Executive Vice President, Market Executive for CVCB’s northern region since July 2019. With over three decades of financial experience, he has gained extensive bank leadership, risk management, commercial lending, and retail banking expertise serving in the positions of Executive Vice President Chief Lending Officer, Executive Vice President Chief Credit Officer, and Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking for California community banks in Greater Sacramento.

Deepak Bhakoo Joins Bank of Marin as SVP and Commercial Banking Sales Manager

Bhakoo will oversee its commercial banking growth initiatives spanning Northern California from the San Francisco Bay Area to greater Sacramento, the Novato-based institution announced. He has nearly 20 years of commercial banking knowledge. Bhakoo has an undergraduate degree from Golden Gate University and is continuing his graduate education with Pacific Coast Graduate Banking School at the University of Washington.

St. Mary’s Credit Union Hires Erick Pereira as Junior Commercial Lending Officer

Pereira comes to St. Mary’s Credit Union from Berkshire Bank, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Senior Branch Officer, and oversaw two branch locations. He also served as Assistant Branch Manager at Commerce Bank, a Division of Berkshire Bank, at locations in Boston, Shrewsbury and Worcester. Pereira previously held the role of Financial Service Representative.
