A Utah native, Clegg spent the previous ten years in increasing roles at Bank of the West. Most recently, he held the title of Regional Sales Manager of SBA Lending. In addition to his business development roles, he has experience as an SBA underwriter, SBA servicer, Relationship Manager, and as a Licensed Title Officer in the State of Utah. Clegg received his BBA from the University of Utah.

Valenzuela began his career at CDC Small Business Finance as Regional Vice President in charge of their Orange County office. He also has held SVP positions at Bank of America, Community Bank and California Bank and Trust. Curtis has a Master’s degree in Public Administration as well as a Law degree and is licensed to practice in California and Texas.

NBL sources and aggregates owner-occupied real estate loans, most of which are supported by the SBA 504 Loan Program. Stonebriar is an independent, privately-held commercial finance company established in 2015 and based in Plano, TX.

John Dao Appointed Vice President at HomeStreet Bank

John Dao is the new vice president at HomeStreet Bank for its California SBA Lending Division. He will work from both the Irvine branch and the SBA lending division in Santa Ana. Dao comes to HomeStreet with over 20 years of experience in commercial lending and SBA financing.
