Gulf Coast Small Business Lending Announces Jon Voeller as SVP, Business Development Officer

“We are experiencing tremendous growth and are especially pleased to have Jon, a proven and experienced SBA professional, join our growing Gulf Coast Small Business Lending team. Jon’s many years of successful experience lending to healthcare providers will be an asset to both our borrowers and our team,” says Nimi Natan, Division President & CEO. Natan shares, “Jon is an ideal addition to our very experienced and knowledgeable team of SBA professionals. As with all business development hires, we look forward to combining Jon’s experience with our exceptional product delivery as we continue to partner with small businesses across the country. By adding Jon to the team, we are signaling our interest in further developing a focus on healthcare lending.”

Jon Voeller brings over 20 years of commercial and SBA lending experience to Gulf Coast Small Business Lending, specializing exclusively in healthcare-specific SBA lending since 2001. In his new role, he will focus on loans to medical, dental, ophthalmic, and ambulatory surgery centers for the purpose of acquiring existing practices, refinancing/consolidating debt, buying out a partner, and/ or starting up a practice. Commercial real estate loans are also available for ground-up construction, expansion, renovation, and/or upgrades.

Annie Olds is the New Business Development Manager for Venture North Funding and Development

“Fortunate, grateful, and excited are the first words that come to mind,” says Laura Galbraith, President of Venture North. “We are blessed to have someone like Annie in our region who is absolutely passionate about the success of small businesses. Annie will dramatically expand our reach and impact, working one-on-one with small businesses to learn about what they do, how they are doing and ways that Venture North can dedicate capital to support their success.”

Most recently, Olds served as Regional Director of the Northwest Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a program of Networks Northwest. Her personal accomplishments in consulting are: securing nearly $17 million in capital for businesses; helping start over 50 small businesses; helping to create over 250 new jobs while retaining nearly 165 jobs; assisting over 150 small businesses; and providing counsel and assistance to over 570 small businesses.

“Venture North is an exceptional and completely unique source of loan capital to support businesses and jobs,” says Olds. “Their first question in considering a loan is how will the loan and business impact the community. For me, the organization and job are a perfect fit. Venture North has a deserved reputation as an organization that comes to the business instead of waiting for the business to come to them offering flexible terms and conditions that fit each business.”
