First Bank of the Lake Promotes Lee Elmslie to SVP, National SBA 504 Sales Manager

Elmslie joined First Bank of the Lake’s SBA team in June 2020. He has over 31 years of lending experience and has been originating SBA loans for the past 25 years. He has averaged over $25 million in new loan production for many years and is consistently ranked in the top 5 for loan production nationally.

In this new role, Elmslie will continue First Bank of the Lake’s mission of assisting small business owners with their acquisition, refinance or expansion requirements through the 504 loan program.

Elmslie earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Auburn University in May 1989 and earned an MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Miami in March 1993.

Heather Burke Joins John Marshall Bank as VP, Commercial Lender

A seasoned market leader, Ms. Burke brings over 26 years of banking experience to her role, in which she will develop new business opportunities and commercial and industrial loans throughout the region. Ms. Burke most recently served as a Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager at Sandy Spring Bank. She brings significant commercial lending skills, including commercial real estate, term loans, SBA loans, and working capital lines of credit to the Bank and the businesses it serves.

Ms. Burke received a Major in Business Administration from Strayer University in Manassas, Virginia. Active in her community, Ms. Burke is a member of the Central Fairfax and Prince William County Chambers of Commerce. She is also a volunteer counselor for the Mason Enterprise Center, which assists small business owners in developing business plans.

Tompkins Community Bank Announces Trevor Bacon as VP, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

With more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry, Bacon will be responsible for bringing new business to the region and expanding Tompkins’ relationships with both present and prospective customers. A graduate of SUNY Oswego, Bacon previously worked as a commercial banking officer at Community Bank and a senior commercial loan officer at Solvay Bank before joining Tompkins. His banking expertise includes work in portfolio management, commercial lending, financial analysis, market research, and loan structure consultation.

A resident of Liverpool, Bacon is also committed to building relationships within the community through his work with LAUNCH, the Salvation Army Young Leaders Board and SUNY Oswego’s School of Business Advisory Council.
