Greylock Federal Credit Union Saves Community Education Facility
Last week, Greylock Federal Credit Union saved Flying Cloud Institute with a Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program loan.
Flying Cloud Institute is a community STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education facility located in Massachusetts. Every year, the institute reaches over 3500 students through in-school programs, summer programs, and Youth Summits.
“We are delighted that with this loan we are able to maintain our entire team on staff,” says Flying Cloud executive director Maria Rundle. “When one of our educators heard the loan was approved, she said, ‘I feel like I can breathe again.’ We can continue to provide STEAM programs that connect with the young scientists and artists in our community via the live, virtual classroom.”
