Steven Doss Joins Union Bank as SBA Sales Manager

His proven leadership skills and successful track record in managing SBA lending, will help us continue growing our SBA program to serve even more small businesses in our communities.”

Prior to joining the bank, Doss served as Senior Vice President, Regional SBA Sales Manager for Wells Fargo Bank for 13 years. While there, he led all SBA sales and business development activities in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties. Prior to that, he was a commercial loan officer for CDC Small Business Finance in San Diego. He began his career as a business banking officer for Wells Fargo.

Active in his industry and community, Doss serves on the board of directors of the CDC Small Business Finance Corp. He also is a member of the National Association of Development Companies, as well as the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders, for which he serves as co-chair of the organization’s 504 Loan Committee. In addition, Doss serves on the San Diego Regional Leadership Council of the Special Olympics, Southern California.

Doss holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton.

For 27 years Darrick has served clients while wearing many hats at Wells Fargo, including operations, retail banking, executive banking, commercial banking and credit analysis. He was also owner and operator of a commercial loan brokerage consulting firm, and was a partner/owner of Jazz at Jacks jazz club in downtown Denver Pavillions.

Commitment to his clients and community is a primary driver for Darrick. He currently lends a hand to up-and-coming entrepreneurs as a board member for Rocky Mountain Microfinance Institute.

When Darrick isn’t assisting others with their business endeavors, he spends his time as a jazz vocalist, enjoys running, biking and traveling.

Robyn Drago, MBA, Licensed Real Estate Agent, Senior Vice President/Business Development Officer, South West Region

In 1987, Robyn began her banking career in Houston as a credit analyst, followed by both Credit and Loan Department management positions. In 1993, she joined a small independent bank and launched her career as a commercial lender with a unique specialization in government guaranteed lending. She later joined an investment bank as a real estate lender for owner-occupied as well as investment properties. In 2008, she joined a merger and acquisition firm acting as an intermediary for buyers and sellers of small to middle market sized companies. She spent the past 7 years with a regional commercial bank serving small to middle market clients by offering a variety of loan options.

Robyn obtained an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University. Additionally, she is a licensed real estate agent.

Robyn is an active participant in various professional organizations including Commercial Real Estate Women, Women’s Finance Exchange, and the Houston Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders. Additionally, she serves as a Board Member for Community Business Finance a nonprofit provider of business finance solutions for owner-managed companies. She’s also a participant and past board member of the Texas Association of Business Brokers, CCIM, Memorial High School Booster Club, Friends of Spring Spirit and the Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association.

James G. Steube, Vice President, Business Development Officer, East Region

James Steube joins Harvest Small Business Finance with over 14 years of experience in the financial industry. He has worked at several of the top asset managers in NYC as both a head trader and portfolio manager as well as founder of a startup hedge fund.
