Coleman’s 2019 SBA Lender Awards — Coleman 2019 Mission-Based Small Business Lender of the Year
Congratulations to Coleman’s 2019 Mission-Based Small Business Lender of the Year, Gary Holmquist!
Since joining Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF) in 1992, Gary Holmquist has been a tireless advocate on behalf of America’s small business owners. Each day, Holmquist works with entrepreneurs and CRF partners in efforts to leverage all available dollars to increase the flow of responsible capital to the communities and people who need it most.
Holmquist works to eliminate barriers to capital in low-income communities, especially for businesses owned by women and racial minorities During CRF’s last fiscal year, Holmquist closed 21 SBA 7(a) loans totaling more than $13 million and supporting 400 jobs. 98% of Holmquist’s lending directly supports businesses in low-income communities or that serve low-income communities, and 50% of those businesses are owned by women, minorities, and veterans.
“Gary Holmquist is instrumental to CRF’s ability to support underinvested small business owners across the country,” says Judy Jandro, Senior Vice President of Small Business Lending at CRF. “He works hard and often collaborates with our partners to find innovative financing solutions to ensure that entrepreneurs receive the capital and advisory services that they need to grow and thrive. Gary is an invaluable asset to CRF’s lending team and is dedicated to servicing the people and communities that need it most.
