Elena Merkley Named Coleman SBA 504 Green Energy Advocate of the Year

Elena has enjoyed assisting Entero Energy to help grow the SBA 504 Green Energy Loan program. With more than 20 years of SBA lending experience, she works closely with CDCs and SBA lenders to help qualify borrowers, navigate eligibility requirements, and prepare strong SBA submissions. Elena is especially passionate about helping borrowers who have reached the $5 million SBA lending cap understand how the Green Energy Loan program can provide additional SBA financing to support their next phase of growth.

By partnering with Entero Energy’s experienced renewable energy team, Elena helps ensure solar projects meet program requirements from both a lending and technical standpoint. Her role connects SBA financing with clean energy solutions, making the process smoother for lenders and borrowers alike.
