First Bank Welcomes Eric Jackson to the SBA Team as VP, Business Development Officer

Eric says of his move to First Bank, “Working and helping in the community in which I work and live is a passion for me so coming to work for an organization like First Bank that believes in service excellence and servant leadership was a no-brainer. Having a close group of professionals passionate about their organization and communities they serve gets me up and motivates me daily.”

Originally from the Chicago area but a Georgia resident for over 20 years, Eric has been in banking for 31 years and has owned a business, helping him especially understand the needs of business owners. He has experienced banking from all aspects and knows the daily ins and outs that it takes to manage a business successfully.

Eric’s goal is always to help the community understand what resources are available, knowledge that can be shared and help that can be offered. Whether through SBA lending or volunteering in various organizations, Eric makes a point to put community first. He has been active with multiple Chambers of Commerce throughout Georgia, including North and South Fulton Chambers, Cobb County Chamber, Sandy Springs Dunwoody Chamber, and more. Additionally, he is a board member of Hillside International Truth Center, a proud member of the Morehouse College Alumni Association, a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and volunteers with organizations like United Way, Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill. When he is not working in the community lending or helping he can be found playing golf and tennis, rollerblading, walking his dog, going to church and traveling and spending time with his 2 daughters.
