There were 133,993 small businesses in Hawaii during 2023.
New loans of $1 million or less reached $1.9 billion in 2021.
There was $693.3 million in new loans of $100,000 or less.
Businesses with revenues of $1 million or less received $467.7 million in new loans in 2021.
More than half of all small businesses were owned by racial minorities, and 46.4% were owned by women.
