Kris Roglieri Pleads Guilty in Multi-Million Dollar Prime Capital Fraud; Faces Up to 10 Years

Kris Roglieri, once a major figure in the loan broker industry, has pled guilty to one count of wire fraud tied to his company, Prime Capital. Roglieri spent years running popular broker events and promoting himself as a bridge between lenders and commercial loan brokers.

Prosecutors say he used an interest credit account scheme to collect millions in upfront payments, claiming the funds were collateral and prepaid interest for future loans. Instead, the money was diverted to personal spending, including luxury cars, high-end watches, and a multimillion-dollar Virginia Beach estate.

Roglieri has been held without bond since May 2024 after sending threatening messages that alarmed prosecutors and the court. He is expected to receive an eight- to ten-year sentence in March, with two years of time served already credited.
