Brian Hunt Named Senior Vice President, SBA Sales Manager at Security National Bank of Texas

Security National Bank of Texas announced that Brian J. Hunt, CCIM, has joined the bank as senior vice president, SBA sales manager, based at the bank’s Tollway Plaza Addison loan production office in Dallas.

Hunt brings extensive SBA lending expertise, with a focus on SBA 7(a) lending, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and healthcare financing. In his new role, he will lead the bank’s SBA lending team, supporting business owners in securing the capital necessary to launch, grow and expand their businesses.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Hunt has assisted business owners nationwide in obtaining capital and navigating SBA lending. He is a board member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors Independent Brokers Group and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University Bloomington.

Ashish Abraham Joins Spectra Bank as SVP – SBA/Commercial Lender

Spectra Bank has added Ashish Abraham as Senior Vice President – SBA/Commercial Lender, bringing more than two decades of banking, commercial lending, and SBA financing experience to the organization.

Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Abraham joins Spectra Bank following nearly five years with First State Bank, where he played a key role in expanding the bank’s SBA and commercial lending portfolios. During his tenure, he helped lead the effort to secure SBA Preferred Lender Program (PLP) status, a significant achievement that enhanced the bank’s ability to serve small business clients more efficiently.

Earlier in his career, Abraham held senior credit and lending leadership positions with Wallis Bank and United Central Bank, developing extensive expertise in credit analysis, underwriting, SBA lending programs, and commercial banking operations. This year, Abraham was recognized with Coleman’s Spirit of SBA Lending Award, reflecting his commitment to supporting small businesses and delivering exceptional results for borrowers and referral partners.

With more than 23 years of experience in commercial banking, credit structuring and advisory services, Anderson brings proven success in helping entrepreneurs and operating companies secure practical and growth-oriented financing solutions. In this role, Anderson will focus on SBA 7(a) lending for owner-occupied commercial real estate and lower middle-market businesses, helping them navigate complex financing opportunities with speed and certainty of execution across the hospitality, healthcare, industrial, logistics, franchise and special-purpose sectors.

Throughout his career, Anderson has held commercial banking and lending positions with regional, national and community banks. He has originated and structured millions of dollars in SBA, commercial real estate and commercial and industrial transactions while managing complex credit relationships, loan committee presentations, participations and multi-bank structures.
