Nick Miluso Joins Accion Opportunity Fund as Senior Director of Underwriting

“I’m energized to join such a talented and respected organization and to contribute to the important work being done to expand opportunity for small business owners,” Miluso says. “I look forward to helping advance the mission and impact of Accion Opportunity Fund alongside this outstanding team.”
Accion Opportunity Fund (AOF) has appointed Nick Miluso as Senior Director of Underwriting. Based in San Diego, Miluso brings more than a decade of experience in small business lending, credit analysis, and mission-driven finance.
Prior to joining AOF, Miluso spent nearly 10 years with CDC Small Business Finance, where he most recently served as Director of Underwriting. During his tenure, he led underwriting and credit teams, oversaw multimillion-dollar lending portfolios, and played a key role in developing innovative lending programs designed to expand access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs. He also helped launch racially equitable lending initiatives and contributed to strategic efforts focused on economic empowerment and community development.
Miluso’s return to the Accion family represents a full-circle moment in his career. In his new role, he will lead underwriting operations and support AOF’s mission of creating economic opportunity for small business owners nationwide.
Access Private Capital Names Veteran SBA Lending Professional Dan Rogers as Business Development Officer

“Dan is exactly the kind of partner-focused professional we want representing APC,” says Mike Eddy, Managing Partner at Access Private Capital. “He knows the SBA 504 program inside and out, and he understands that CDCs and referral partners judge a lender by one thing: do you do what you say you’ll do, on time. That’s our entire model—fast, efficient, and reliable—and Dan lives it every day.”
Access Private Capital (APC), a national non-bank lender specializing in first-mortgage financing for SBA 504 loans, today announced the hiring of Dan Rogers as Business Development Officer. Rogers brings more than 26 years of sales and business development experience—including a deep track record in SBA commercial real estate lending—to APC’s growing team.
Rogers has spent much of his career originating and structuring SBA loans for business owners across the country. In his most recent role, he sourced and submitted $24 million in SBA loans in 2026, and in 2024 he produced $12.5 million in SBA volume—190% of his quota. Known for a hands-on, high-volume approach, he routinely manages 12 to 18 active loan files a week and has built a national network of CDC and referral relationships throughout his career.
His expertise spans SBA loan structuring, commercial real estate, franchise lending, and mergers and acquisitions—paired with a reputation for working seamlessly with underwriting teams to move deals from intake to approval. That combination makes him a natural fit for APC’s referral-driven model.
“I’ve spent my career helping business owners access the capital they need, and I’ve worked alongside a lot of lenders,” says Rogers. “What drew me to APC is the speed and the certainty. As a non-bank lender focused on SBA 504, APC can move quickly and give CDCs and referral partners a level of reliability that’s hard to find anywhere else. I’m excited to bring that to my partners across the country.”
