Philip Rhodes Named VP, SBA National Franchise Lending at Provide, Powered by Fifth Third

Philip Rhodes has joined Provide, powered by Fifth Third, in SBA franchise lending.

Rhodes brings more than a decade of experience in SBA and franchise finance. He previously spent over 13 years with TD Bank, where he most recently served as Vice President, SBA National Franchise Team Leader and earlier as Vice President of SBA Business Development for Franchise Lending. His background also includes roles in commercial credit management and research analysis within the bank.

Rhodes holds an MBA from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Clemson’s Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. He is experienced in SBA lending, credit risk analysis, business development, and franchise finance.

Kaye Thompson Joins First Peoples Bank as SBA Closing Manager

Kaye Thompson has been named SBA Closing Manager at First Peoples Bank.

Thompson brings more than a decade of experience in commercial and SBA lending operations. Prior to joining First Peoples Bank, she served as Senior SBA Loan Closer at First Internet Bank and previously held the role of AVP/SBA Loan Closer at Embassy National Bank. Earlier in her career, she worked with United Community Bank and KeyWorth Bank in loan operations and commercial lending support roles.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Young Harris College.

Christopher Hendricks Promoted to Assistant Vice President at Provident Bank

Christopher Hendricks has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, SBA Portfolio Manager II at Provident Bank. He joined Provident Bank in 2022 as a Credit Analyst I and has advanced through several roles within the bank’s SBA lending group, including Associate Portfolio Manager – SBA and Portfolio Manager – SBA. In his new role, he continues to manage and oversee SBA loan portfolios and support credit and underwriting operations.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Delaware’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.
