In January 2025, River City Bank celebrated its second anniversary of launching their SBA department. In the third year of operation, the SBA team of three was able to grow the 7a and 504 loan portfolio by 43%. With an average SBA loan size of $668,000, the bank has focused it’s SBA platform on helping true main street businesses. In 2025, the bank was proud to help assist several businesses with business acquisitions, as well as franchise start-ups. While helping main street businesses, the SBA department had a very profitable year and contributed to a strong bank wide return on assets.
