SBA Hot Topic Tuesday — Updated 7(a) 504 Loan Data 12/31/25, SBA Update Teams Event Wed 2/11
SBA is launching a new outreach event with lenders: “SBA Lender Connect Update.”
Their first Microsoft Teams meeting will be Wednesday, February 11, at 3:00 pm Eastern.
These sessions are designed to provide deep dives into transaction structuring, underwriting, and best practices for both 7(a) and 504 programs. In this kickoff meeting, we’ll be covering:
- Policy and Procedure Notice Updates
- Working Capital Pilot (WCP)
- Surety Bonds and additional updates

SBA has updated its database of every SBA 7(a) and 504 loan approved through 12/31/25.

Here is some of the useful information available for SBA 7(a) and 504 loans:
- Borrower name
- Borrower address
- Total loan amount
- Amount of SBA’s loan guaranty
- Date the loan was approved
- Fiscal year the loan was approved
- Date of first loan disbursement (if available)
- Current loan status: COMMIT (undisbursed); PIF (paid in full); CHGOFF (charged off); CANCLD (cancelled); EXEMPT (disbursed loans exempt from FOIA Exemption 4)
- Date loan was paid in full (if applicable)
- Date SBA charged off loan (if applicable)
- Total loan balance charged off (includes guaranteed and non-guaranteed portions)
