The SBA has green energy initiatives for the 504 Loan program that allows multiple loans to a single borrower without a maximum ceiling.

The USDA Rural Business Services has its Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) with a maximum loan size of $25 million.

The State of California recently introduced new climate financing authority, and now the SBA follows up with the ability of Community Advantage lenders to lend up to $2 million for green energy programs.

SBA Borrowers only need to meet one goal to qualify:

– Reduce energy use by at least 10%

– Generate at least 15% renewable energy

– Obtain LEED Certification

We will guide you on how to vet your borrower and properly document the eligibility of each project.

Moderated by Bob Coleman, join this Coleman webinar with our expert panelists to become fully informed and up-to-date on the myriad increases of each program.

You and Your Staff Will Learn About:

– 504 green program eligibility

– 504 maximum loan amounts

– The latest California climate financing loan guarantee programs

– SBA’s definition of green loans for Community Advantage lenders to increase the loan size to $2 million

– An overview of USDA’s REAP programs
