Coleman Movers & Shakers – David Barganski, Danelle Thomsen, and Stone Bank SBA Division

PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes David Barganski as SVP, Senior Commercial Loan Officer

“David will be a great asset to our lending team and to the businesses we serve,” says Coastal Bend Region Chairman Frank Hastings. “While he’s a seasoned commercial banking professional, David also knows first-hand what it takes to run a business. His background allows him the unique perspective to understand business owners’ financial needs.”

Barganski has more than 22 years of financial services and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to joining PlainsCapital, Barganski spent eight years overseeing two restaurants in the Coastal Bend area. Under Barganski’s leadership, both restaurants received performance-based Champions Circle awards for three consecutive years. Before his time as an entrepreneur, he served as senior vice president at BBVA Compass for more than eight years.

“Managing a business involves significant planning and making key financial decisions to support your short- and long-term goals,” says Barganski. “I’m excited to partner with entrepreneurs in the Coastal Bend area and across the Lone Star State by providing the quality banking products, services, and guidance they need to pursue success.”

Danelle Thomsen is the New Chief Financial Officer for 1st Capital Bancorp

“We are excited to have Danelle join the 1st Capital team. Her accounting and finance experience, diverse financial services background, and leadership skills are essential to meeting our operating performance objectives,” says CEO Samuel Jimenez.

Ms. Thomsen’s career spans 25 years beginning at a top 10 public accounting firm with a focus on auditing community financial institutions. Post public accounting, Danelle spent five years in senior finance roles in real estate development before returning to financial services and has spent the last fifteen years serving in various senior accounting and finance leadership positions. Most recently, Danelle served as Chief Administrative Officer of a nationwide loan servicing company seeking a de-novo bank charter.

“I am thrilled to join the team at 1st Capital Banks, as the Bank builds on its solid foundations and is poised for continued growth serving the Central Coast of California,” says Thomsen.
