Edi Santos Joins So Cal CDC as VP Sales Manager
So Cal CDC welcomes Edi Santos as Vice President – Sales Manager for So Cal CDC’s 504 lending program in the 5-county Southern California region.
Prior to joining So Cal CDC, Santos served as VP Business Development Officer for Wells Fargo and VP Small Business Banker at Bank of America.
“Edi has extensive experience providing financing to small businesses throughout the Southern California region. His proven business development track record will assist So Cal CDC in furthering the mission of the SBA 504 commercial real estate loan program throughout the Southern California region,” says Silverio Robledo, So Cal CDC President.
Santos did his undergraduate studies at California State University Northridge and obtained an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Santos is also an honorable Veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he received numerous medals, awards and ribbons for his military service accomplishments.
Tod Gordon joins First Women’s Bank as Chief Financial Officer
First Women’s Bank, Chicago’s first startup bank in over a decade, will open its doors next week. The bank hopes to support women and minorities in underserves areas and will offer both conventional and SBA financing. In preparation, the bank has hired Tod Gordon to be its Chief Financial Officer.
Gordon was formerly senior vice president for deposit products at Discover’s bank and also treasurer at Discover Bank. At First Women’s Bank, Gordon will oversee financial disciplines, deposits and operations.
“I’m humbled to be joining a strong team with a unique, differentiated strategy to deliver strong results while supporting gender equality,” says Gordon. “ I look forward to our capital raise phase.”
Gordon did his undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington and went on to receive an MBA Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University in Chicago.
Merchants Bank in Indiana Hires Tony Holtzman
Tony Holtzman, a founding member of First Colorado National Bank, will hold the position of senior business development officer, SBA Lending at the Marchants Bank’s Indianapolis office.
Relationship- and results-focused, Holtzman has more than 25 years of Commercial, SBA 7a, SBA 504, USDA CRE Wholesale loan production sales, credit administration, portfolio management and underwriting experience in the Midwest.
Holtzman is one of three recent additions to Merchants Bank’s SBA department.
