RBB Bancorp Announces Edwin Oh as SVP and SBA Manager and Rick Carpenter as SVP and Commercial Lending Manager

Prior to joining RBB, Mr. Oh was a Credit Department Manager at Velocity SBA and an SBA Team Leader at Open Bank. Mr. Oh is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He joins RBB with a team of 2 SBA-focused bankers with whom he has worked with for 7 years.

Bank First Welcomes Andrew Thomas as SVP, Business Banking

Andrew has over nine years of commercial lending experience, including three years as credit analyst and most recently serving as a commercial lender at First Citizens Bank. In his new role, Andrew will be responsible for the development and growth of the bank’s business portfolio in its southern market. Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Active in his community, he serves on the board of directors of Donna Lexa Art Centers as treasurer as well as on the Wishmaker Committee for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.

Emilio Vallejos Joins First Bank of the Lake as SBA Senior Business Development Associate

“We are excited Emilio has joined our team,” states Annemarie Murphy, EVP, President of SBA Lending. “Emilio will work with our team, mostly comprised of veterans, to help provide financing to the underserved and those who have served our country. We are so proud of the work our Veteran Loan team is doing to help veteran-owned businesses with their financing needs.”

Vallejos joined First Bank of the Lake’s SBA team in June 2022. He has well over a decade of experience lending to small businesses nationwide across industries including projects involving business acquisition, commercial real estate and equipment purchases, construction projects, working capital, startup, and franchise financing. Vallejos has extensive expertise in SBA 7a, 504 Loans and SBA CAP Lines.

Vallejos is a Finance Officer for American Legion Post 26 from 2018 to present. He is a co-founder of Greeley Mob Mixer networking group and a Greely Chamber of Commerce Ambassador from 2020 to present. Vallejos was a 40 under Forty honoree, Diverse Business Leadership honoree and graduated from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB) with Recognition in Leadership.

“I had the honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Security Forces Marine and Machine Gun Section Leader. I continue to serve in various Veteran organizations and focus my lending efforts on Veteran Owned Businesses,” states Vallejos. “So many Veterans carry a drive and entrepreneurial spirit that is humbling and inspiring, I’ve also been a small business owner, so I understand the challenges and difficulties in launching and running a business. I use these experiences to help Veterans as they navigate through the unique challenges of obtaining financing.”
