Quinn Collins Coleman Joins First Bank of the Lake as VP, SBA Senior BDO

Coleman joined First Bank of the Lake’s SBA team in January 2022. He has over 8 years of experience in Commercial Lending in the 13 state Appalachian region, specializing in start-up financing, renewable energy, breweries, alternative agriculture, and commercial real estate. Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations & Political Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2009 and his master’s degree in International Development from Portland State University in 2013. He earned a post-secondary service-learning certificate in 2013 and participated in various RMA related training from 2013 to 2021. In 2021, he earned a solar lending professional certificate from the University of New Hampshire.

First Bank of the Lake Hires Carey Hofferber as VP, SBA CRE Business Development Officer

Hofferber joined First Bank of the Lake’s SBA team in February 2022. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry with the most recent 15 years in SBA origination, specializing in SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans. Hofferber is a former CPA and has an extensive understanding of financial statements and credit. Carey earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in 1980. He is a member of Lions Club International in Dallas. Throughout his career, Hofferber has enjoyed participating in many service projects and giving back to the community in the Dallas area.

BankUnited Welcomes James Keenan as VP, SBA Business Development Officer
As BankUnited vice president, SBA business development officer for Palm Beach, Treasure Coast, Tampa and Orlando, Keenan will be responsible for assisting new and existing business clients with SBA loan requests, deposits, and all other banking needs.
Keenan, who has 20 years of industry experience, previously served with BankUnited as vice president, regional manager for the North Treasure Coast and vice president, banking center manager in Vero Beach. Most recently, he served as COO for Charles Brooks Holding Company in Vero Beach.
