Sound Bank Receives Preferred Lender Status
The Sound Bank SBA program continues to gain momentum as it adds employees and achieves national recognition. The organization recently received its Preferred Lender Status from the Small Business Administration.

Shannon Jefferson Acquires AGEX Financial and Rebrands Company as Lyra Lender Services
Shannon Jefferson, a national SBA lending expert, has acquired AGEX Financial and rebranded the firm with a new name, fresh logo, and expanded services.
Under Jefferson’s leadership, Lyra Lender Services’ team offers a combined 45 years of SBA lending and loan processing expertise. Lyra Lender Services has processed over 1,000 SBA loans totaling more than $650 million to open the doors of new businesses, spark economic and community growth, and create jobs.
“Our goal is to make SBA lending as easy, if not easier, than conventional lending,” says Jefferson. “Our partnership with bank clients allows them to focus on their strengths of lending and credit analysis while relying on us to handle the complexities of the SBA process. American Momentum Bank Hires Steven Hoschak as New SBA Lending Business Development Officer
Hoschak has over 12 years of banking experience in the Tampa Bay community. He has a passion for helping small businesses achieve their financial goals and enjoys his role in the expansion of the Tampa market. At American Momentum, Hoschak will be responsible for sourcing well-qualified SBA 7(a) loan opportunities.
“Steven is going to be an asset to our team because of his work ethic, discipline and strong customer service skills,” says Patrick Fenech, senior vice president and managing director of SBA lending for American Momentum Bank. “He’s also an experienced lender.
