Toshia Walters Appointed Senior VP and Construction Loan Manager, Pinnacle Financial Partners, South Carolina

Toshia Walters joins Pinnacle Financial Partners as a senior vice president and construction loan manager as part of their SBA lending team.

“Toshia’s years of experience give us another leg up in serving our communities,” says David Hoppenworth, Pinnacle’s SBA lending director. “She has built her career specializing in SBA construction lending in urban and rural markets, and her expertise will help ease the process for our clients. She is an exceptional addition to our team.”

Based out of Chesapeake, VA, she will be assisting clients with obtaining loans for constructing/renovating owner-occupied commercial buildings throughout the Southeast.

Walters comes to Pinnacle with 20 years of financial services experience. Her last position was with Wells Fargo Bank, where she served in a variety of credit roles for the past 11 years. In addition to managing a production underwriting team of construction loan managers, she has also served as a development manager for Charlotte Housing Authority and Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation.

Walters holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hampton University, VA, in addition to a master’s degree in business administration from Strayer University in Charlotte, NC.

Noe Castillo Joins CDC Small Business Finance, California

CDC Small Business Finance is pleased to announce the appointment of Noe Castillo as commercial loan officer in Los Angeles.

Castillo will be responsible for providing SBA financing to small businesses, to include Community Advantage and microloans. He will also be involved in education for entrepreneurs about the Small Business Finance Fund, which provides affordable capital to Latino- and African American-owned small businesses in the greater Los Angeles area.

Castillo comes to CDC from Stack Capital, Irvine, where he served as managing director. His experience also includes business banking at Bank of America in Redondo Beach and Wells Fargo Bank in Torrance.

Castillo is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University.

CoastalStates Bank “CSB” Atlanta Receives Preferred Lending Status, Adds New “GGL” Team Members
