Bank of Brookhaven Becomes a SBA Lender
Mississippi-based Bank of Brookhaven has signed the 750 and is now a SBA lender.
“We are pleased to add SBA Lending to our menu of loan products we provide, as we strive to help Brookhaven and Lincoln County grow and prosper,” says Bill Sones, president/CEO of the Bank of Brookhaven. “We are constantly looking for ways to improve our bank and our community.”
A restaurant entrepreneur was able to open five new Butterburger locations in Florida by going Green with SBA’s 504 lending program.
But, Dave Koch had a problem. His various enterprises had grown sufficiently to have reached the SBA 504 Program’s limit.
However, IDS and Dave embraced the “green” provisions of the SBA 504 loan program.
With the assistance of Partner Energy and McCon Building Corporation they were able to rework the basic store prototype to reduce energy consumption to a point where it was feasible to install sufficient solar panels to meet the requirements of the renewable energy provisions.
