Coleman’s Movers and Shakers — Leticia Scearce Named Senior Vice President of Grandpoint Bank
“Government guaranteed lending is an increasingly important component of our lending program,” says David J. Ross, executive vice president & chief credit officer of Arizona and California-based Grandpoint Bank. “If a conventional loan isn’t well suited for a client, we have the ability to offer an attractive alternative with one of the government guaranteed loan programs. Leticia’s unique background, with time at Freddie Mac, working in structured finance at ING and working in community banking, makes her the ideal person to lead our government guaranteed lending division.”
“Government guaranteed lending was a key part of lending during the great recession, but what is even more interesting is that it has expanded and grown to new record levels as the economy improved,” explains Scearce. “It is exciting to help build this division and to make sure our clients have access to a diverse array of government guaranteed loan options.” Leticia also serves on the City of Phoenix Investment Advisory Board, which advises the city on its $2 billion investment portfolio.
