Former SBA Administrator Linda McMahon Open to SBA Second Act
On Tuesday, Politico interviewed Linda McMahon who suggested she is “ready to serve” if the opportunity presents itself to return to SBA. She says she has a “servant leader’s heart.”
Inc. reported that McMahon extended advice to SBA’s 68 district offices that helps connect small business owners with SBA: “[M]ake sure that they have good people that they need on the ground, and that they’re working with some volunteers and some paid people on the ground to help businesses grow and thrive.”
When talking about potential policy focuses, Linda McMahon says “we certainly want to bring down inflation, we certainly want to bring down prices, we want to do all those things.”
She also said tax cuts could be a priority in the future.
“When I was SBA Administrator and we put through those tax reductions, there wasn’t one small business that I talked to that didn’t say they wouldn’t use that benefit to be able to expand and grow their business,” says McMahon.
