Rhiannon Hernandez joins Needham Bank as Vice President, SBA Relationship Manager

“The Small Business Lending team is an important and growing sector of our business at Needham Bank,” says Michael Semizoglou, Small Business Team Leader. “Rhiannon has a depth of experience with small businesses and SBA lending guidelines that we look for and we are pleased to welcome her to our team.”

Rhiannon Hernandez brings over 15 years of bank management and business development experience to her new role. Most recently she was Vice President, Relationship Manager at Citizens Bank where she developed consultative relationships with small business clients with annual revenues ranging from $500K-$5MM. In addition to her work experience, Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University and has completed C&I Credit Analyst Training from Credit Training Inc.

“The bank has a long history of helping local businesses, which has been truly evident during these times of uncertainty,” says Hernan. “I’m proud to be joining a company that was able to help so many small businesses through the Payment Protection Program and I look forward to the small business relationships I will develop.”

Dave Klooster joins the Arbor Financial Team as SBA Manager

“It has been a goal of ours to establish an SBA Department to better serve our business members,” says Judith Robbins, Vice President of Commercial and Private Banking at Arbor Financial. “When the opportunity arose with Dave, we knew we needed to act on it. His knowledge of Commercial and SBA 7(a) Lending, along with his entrepreneurial mindset, is rare to find. I am looking forward to seeing this area of Commercial Lending grow over the next few years and helping small businesses achieve their goals.”

Klooster holds a BA in Economics from Calvin College and an MBA with a Finance Concentration from Cornerstone University. Upon completing his MBA, Klooster began teaching finance and economics for Cornerstone University’s Professional and Graduate Studies Program. While continuing to teach, he established his own business, where he consulted with small banks and credit unions on SBA 7(a) loans. Klooster now has over 30 years of experience in the industry.

Ernie Beaudet Joins Bennington State Bank as BDO

“Having Ernie as part of our team is an important next step in expanding Bennington State Bank’s commercial lending presence in the Wamego area with a focus on Manhattan and expanding into Topeka,” said Josh Marquardt, Bennington State Bank Wamego Market President. “Ernie has a wealth of experience and contacts through his multiple years in banking. His comprehensive knowledge of financial services will be an added benefit to our customers.”

Beaudet has a span of 40 years in the Banking Industry, providing customers with solutions to fit their financial needs. A Kansas native, Beaudet was born and raised in Manhattan, KS, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Kansas State University. He started his career in banking as a teller while attending Kansas State University and quickly moved up from there. Beaudet is well known throughout the business community and brings over three decades of experience as President/CEO at community banks in Kansas. He most recently held the position of President/CEO with Heritage Bank in Topeka.

“The aspect of banking that I most enjoy is providing financing for individuals to be successful in business,” Beaudet stated. “I have admired BSB since arriving in Topeka and becoming more familiar with their rich history.
