BDC Capital/ CDC New England Promotes David Raccio to SVP, Managing Director of Sales

Raccio will lead a team of business development officers located throughout New England with a focus on SBA 504 loans through BDC Capital’s affiliate company, CDC New England, an SBA 504 Certified Development Company. David joined the BDC team as VP, Business Development Officer in 2017 in the Hartford, CT office and has processed hundreds of SBA 504 loans.

Prior to working for BDC, he spent two years as Vice President of SBA 504 Lending at another CDC. Before that, he spent 15 years with the State of Connecticut, Department of Economic and Community Development, as a senior loan officer where he focused on providing financial assistance to industry clusters such as aerospace manufacturers, plastics and metal manufacturers, insurance and financial services, and bioscience companies.

Jordan Payne Joins Countybank as VP, SBA Business Development Officer

Payne most recently served as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Banker with Aquesta Bank (acquired by United Community Bank) where he was responsible for business development, relationship management, and new loan acquisitions. Payne has previously served in business development and investment roles where he was responsible for the bank’s small business strategy and managing portfolios.

“Payne is joining a seasoned SBA team and will undoubtedly help us continue to grow these newer Upstate market areas for Countybank,” says Ken Harper, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Countybank. “We look forward to having him join our commercial loan office team in Simpsonville, build client relationships, and help small businesses in the Upstate thrive.”

Skowhegan Savings Welcomes Tara Russell as Vice President and Commercial Lender

“We’re pleased to welcome Tara to our commercial lending team,” says Steve Thomas, Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender. “She has a vast knowledge of banking products, services and extensive experience working with customers in meeting their financial goals.”

She comes to the bank with over 23 years of experience in the financial and customer service industries, being recognized with numerous national awards for performance while serving as a branch manager and vice president of business development in prior positions at financial institutions. Russell will be based out of the bank’s Skowhegan branch and looks to use her extensive experience to assist business customers in the Somerset County region with their banking needs.
