Greg Pitner Joins First Internet Bank
Greg Pitner joins First Internet Bank’s Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending team as VP, Senior Business Development Officer. As an SBA business development officer, Greg will work closely with both entrepreneurs and referral sources to assess and structure the financing requirements of small businesses nationwide.
Pitner has over 20 years of financial industry experience. He was previously with Q2 Business Capital, BankUnited and Evergreen Growth Partners L.L.C., among others.

Hollie Blagg Joins Michigan SBDC Leadership Team
Business leader, Hollie Blagg, has been named Associate State Director of the Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC), located in the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University.
Blagg began her new role on July 22, joining the executive team of the SBDC, a statewide organization that serves more than 5,500 small businesses annually, offering one-on-one consulting, business training and market research.
Blagg brings 20 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles, most recently leading Hybrid IT and Cloud Strategies for principal, architectural, and delivery consulting services at OST. She also brings first-hand experience in small business ownership.
“As a small business owner who is surviving the current COVID-19 crisis, I’m excited to bring a unique perspective of the small business community’s needs during such a critical time,” says Blagg. “Coupled with my leadership experience, my hope is to foster innovation and development within the SBDC, and entrepreneurship and innovation within our communities.”
SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza Appoints Seven Senior Executives
On July 16, 2020, SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza announced the appointment of seven senior executives to administer the Agency’s programs and advocate for small businesses.
“I am proud to announce the appointment of these senior executives to play a critical role in managing and realigning the delivery of our products and services to meet the needs of America’s entrepreneurs during this extraordinary time,” says SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza. “These executives will ensure that small businesses retool and gain a competitive edge in the areas of access to capital, entrepreneurial development, government contracting, and international trade.”
The appointments include:
- William Manger, Chief of Staff and Associate Administrator for the Office of Capital Access.
- Christopher Gray, Deputy Chief of Staff.
- Brittany Biles, General Counsel.
- Keith Bluestein, Chief Information Officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer.
- Loretta Greene, Associate Administrator, Office of International Trade.
- Francis Spampinato, Associate Administrator, Office of Government Contracting and Business Development.
- Sery Kim, Assistant Administrator, Women’s Business Ownership for the Office of Entrepreneurial Development.
