Itzel Meador Named Simmons Bank Regional Sales, Development Manager

As the regional manager, Meador is charged with overseeing SBA loan production and the bank’s SBA lending processes for an eight-state region.

Prior to joining Simmons, Meador served as vice president in Regions Bank’s commercial lending group. She has also served as a senior vice president at Arkansas Capital Corporation.

Meador is a member of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, a board member for the Small Business Technology Development Center, and treasurer for the Children’s Protection Center.

She was named the SBA Financial Advocate of the Year in 2006.

James Mallios Joins Harvest as BDO in Midwest

Jim Mallios has been in banking and consulting since 2001 with a strong concentration in commercial lending including SBA, commercial real estate and bridge lending. Jim grew up in the restaurant business and as such has developed a unique understanding of the daily challenges experienced by small and mid-sized business.

After graduating from Michigan State University, Jim began his banking career as a credit analyst for National City Bank. He underwrote commercial and industrial loans for middle market clients, and subsequently launched a career in commercial lending with a local bank’s industrial division. Jim has also worked for several banks in the Chicagoland area with a focus on lending to manufacturers, distributors as well as restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, and others. After 15 years in banking, Jim worked in private consulting with an established firm, heading up the company’s capital markets division.
