Coleman Movers & Shakers — Lynn Ozer, Brandon Malm, and Jarron Gray

Lynn Ozer Named President of MultiFunding

“I couldn’t be more excited to join Ami to launch his ingenious SBA Ignite platform to let entrepreneurs know about the awesome programs available from the SBA,” says Lynn Ozer. “These go well beyond PPP and it is so important for small businesses to understand what is out there to aid them.”

Ozer is a strategic and highly accomplished financial executive with vast expertise in small business lending departments, training existing and aspiring lenders on SBA’s loan origination policies and procedures, and advocating on a local and national level for policies that prioritize small business.

In addition to serving as President of MultiFunding, Ozer will continue to act as chair of the board of NAGGL and actively participate on the government relations and technical issues executive committees.

Gulf Coast Small Business Lending Promotes Brandon Malm to Senior Underwriter

“Brandon has demonstrated continued excellence since joining our team and has successfully underwritten many complex deals during his tenure,” says William Popa, EVP of Restaurant and Franchising at Gulf Coast Small Business Lending. “Brandon is also a great communicator with an outstanding work ethic and his performance and contributions to the company make him very valuable to our growing business model.”

Brandon Malm joined Gulf Coast Small Business Lending in June 2019 as an Underwriter in the Greater Chicago Area. Since then, his focus has been primarily on underwriting SBA transactions for emerging franchises and restaurants. In his new role as a Senior Underwriter, Malm will continue to serve small business restaurants and franchises from his new office in Dallas, Texas.

“Throughout my career, I have analyzed many small businesses to assess financial and credit risk. From manufacturing to software development to child care and restaurants, I connect with business owners, investors, entrepreneurs, accountants, and lawyers to assess and mitigate credit risk, and create attractive financing structures that work for all parties,” says Malm. “After many years of helping small businesses navigate the path of traditional financing, my personal interests have grown to include progressive technologies such as data analytics, blockchain, and decentralized tech. I’m interested in exploring new ways to provide lending services and other financial benefits to under-served markets, using these tools to evolve existing lending entities, services, and products.”

Jarron Gray Joins Fund-Ex Solutions Group as SBA Business Development Officer

“I have made the decision to join one of the fastest-growing non-bank SBA 7(a) lenders in the country, Fund-Ex Solutions Group,” says Jarron Gray. “I have never seen a company with this kind of growth and upward mobility. I am pleased to be a part of the team.”

Gray brings to Fund-Ex solutions Group over 14 years of experience handling all aspects of small business lending from origination and underwriting to portfolio management. Most recently, Gray served as a commercial loan officer for Valley Bank of Nevada, where he focused on SBA transactions. He has also worked as a small business development officer at Pacific Premier Bank, U.S. Bank, and Mountain America Credit Union.
