John Marshall Bank is proud to announce the hiring of Tina Townsend as a Business Development Officer in the Washington, DC, and Maryland region. A veteran banker, Tina has over 26 years of community banking experience. She most recently served as a Market Leader and Vice President at BB&T (now Truist) in Alexandria, Virginia, spending 11 years in the role. Prior to that, she served 3 years as a Regional Sales and Marketing Officer, and 4 years as a Financial Center Leader, all at BB&T.
Tina is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University and received a BS in Business Administration. Prior to her education and subsequent, decorated, banking career, Tina served in the United States Army.
Josh Rawls Joins 44 Business Capital as First Vice President of SBA Lending
Josh joins 44 Business Capital with more than 20 years of banking experience, including the last seven as an SBA Lender with Regions Bank. Prior to that, he worked as an SBA underwriter, commercial underwriter, and as a branch manager. Josh enjoys working with small business owners to create practical solutions that fit their needs. Josh graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Banking and Finance. Josh and his wife Degee live in Hoover, Alabama with their son J.R. He is an avid sports and music fan and enjoys coaching J.R.’s baseball teams.
Rick Sayward Joins Dogwood State Bank Small Business Lending as Business Lending Specialist

Rick Sayward brings over 12 years of combined SBA experience to Dogwood State Bank Small Business Lending, with a unique background in both credit and sales. Rick specializes in business acquisitions, partnership buyouts, and commercial real estate lending. Early on in his career, Rick served as an AVP & Credit Analyst for New York Business Development Corporation, and then, as an SBA Underwriter for Yadkin Bank. From there, he served stints at U.S. Bank, United Community Bank, and Fund-Ex Solutions Group before joining the team at Dogwood State Bank Small Business Lending.
