Pioneer Launches SBA Program with Kate Morgan as SBA Relationship Manager

Pioneer has recently announced the launch of its new U.S. Small Business Administration program. The program will be led by Kate Morgan, who has nearly a decade of experience in processing and administrating SBA loan offerings.

In her new role, Morgan will lead the build out and development of Pioneer’s SBA program, create strategies to originate SBA loans in the marketplace and work with commercial partners to process and administer government-guaranteed small business loans.

“I am excited to join the exceptional team at Pioneer and to have the opportunity to help establish a vibrant SBA program that serves the critical financial needs of small businesses,” says Morgan. “I look forward to building strong relationships with commercial partners throughout the Capital Region and helping them gain access to vital programs that can put them on the path to success.”

Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union Welcomes Jake Kuester as Director of Business Services

In his new role, Kuester will help businesses stay adaptable and innovative through commercial and small business lending, deposit services, and business development strategies and tools. He will also oversee all of Affinity Plus’ new member acquisition.

Kuester has spent his entire career working in financial services. Before joining Affinity Plus, he worked at the Community Reinvestment Fund, Wells Fargo and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. He holds an MBA in finance and management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

Thomas Nestor Joins Lake Michigan Credit Union as an SBA Loan Officer

LMCU’s SBA Loan Director, Javier Jorge, is grateful to have Nestor’s experience on the team. “Tom knows the market and what Michigan businesses need,” says Jorge. “He’s solution-focused, and that’s essential for the work we do.”

Nestor graduated with a business administration degree from Michigan State University. He has over 40 years of experience in financial services, market strategy, and management.

Nestor looks forward to building new relationships and strengthening existing ones with local business owners. “I was born and raised in Michigan, and it’s a privilege to help small businesses obtain the capital they need to achieve their growth goals,” Nestor says. “I’m excited to join LMCU’s team of SBA experts that provide such outstanding service and value to our members.”
