Ana Parra to Serve as Program Director at Women’s Business Center in South Carolina 

Parra joins CommunityWorks from a local marketing agency. She is an experienced communications professional with over 15 years of experience working in the marketing, community relations, and nonprofit sectors.  She is also a board member of Public Education Partners and Speaking Down Barriers. Parra is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she received her BA in Journalism and Mass Communications.

The CommunityWorks Women’s Business Center focuses on serving women, particularly minorities, who may be economically disadvantaged, and works to offer comprehensive training and counseling on an array of business-related topics. 

Micah Glenn Joins Seacoast Commerce Bank as SBA BDO

“Micah is an outstanding addition to our team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our business”, says Don Mercer, Executive Vice President, SBA National Sales Manager. “He advocates for small business entrepreneurs through a rare combination of technical savvy, customer focus, and persuasive communication and we’re really excited that he chose to join our team”.

Glenn has over 25 years of extensive banking and finance experience spanning management and business development. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University in 1987, he became an Account Officer for Manufactures National Bank of Detroit where he was responsible for accounts of corporate customers with annual revenues of $1 million to $50 million dollars. Most recently Glenn worked at Fifth Third Bank.

Pathway Lending Welcomes T.J. Miller as Senior Small Business Advisor for Business Marketing. 

“I want to use my marketing expertise to impact people’s lives, businesses, and communities in a positive way,”  says Miller. “That’s why I joined Pathway Lending,”

Prior to joining Pathway Lending, Miller worked as a small business Chief Marketing and Operating Officer at SuperSprings International, Inc., where his marketing strategy helped turn a $5,000,000 company with a 6% net profit margin into a $12,000,000 company with a 20% net profit margin. Miller has also worked as a creative solutionist and online strategist, consulting with numerous businesses and non-profits across the nation.
