- In 2021, $217.9 million in loans were made to Washington D.C. businesses with revenues of $1 million or less.
- New lending to businesses through loans of $100,000 or less was $287.8 million.
- There was $904.1 million in new loans of $1 million or less.
- Washington D.C. small businesses contributed 30,252 new jobs between March 2021 and March 2022.
- 47.4% of small businesses were women-owned, 43.3% were owned by a racial minority, and 4.1% were veteran-owned.
